A Legacy of Faith Since 1970

From the JOY Mission Society to TAP International

The Altruism Project, also known as TAP International, began as the JOY Mission Society in 1970 through the partnership of Bhasme Sumanth and Frank Morrison. What began as a shared commitment to serve communities in South India grew through the work of pastors, evangelists, teachers, and families who carried the mission forward.

Over the decades, the work expanded into church planting, Bible education, children's care, and practical community support. Each chapter of the story has been shaped by local leaders and the people they serve.
